Recently "UKRAINIAN ART WEEK " International exhibition-competition has taken place in the Central House of Artists in Kiev. It was the "Autumn - 2013 " contemporary art season. According to the results the winners in the decorative arts competition were Lilia Krutchenko and Vitaliy Potapkin, the teachers of Technological and Pedagogical Department at Pavlo Tychyna USPU. Overall more than two dozen contestants took part in the competition and presented their creative works. Our members presented three items each. For each of those they were awarded a prize.

Lilia Krutchenko received the following awards in the category of " Natural materials and floristics ":
1st Place - " Decorative bottle";
2nd Place - "Laced bottle ";
3rd Place - "Basket".

Vitaliy Potapkin received the following awards in the category of "Processing of Materials":
1st Place - " Decorative Plate "
2nd Place - "Spoon "
3rd place - "Perch ".
