The results of the student government activities in the last academic year and re - election of the chairman and members of the student council were key issues on the agenda in September report and election conference of the student government. Among the participants of the meeting there were Vice-Rectors, staff representatives, the trade union committee, and student delegates from schools.

As it was highlighted in the annual report of Victoria Mikhailyuk, the Head student council, the student government became an essential part of the University life due to protecting the rights and interests of the students, their participation in the management of higher educational institution, and supporting the youth initiatives.

Thanks to the coordinated work of members of the student council, cooperation with the University and its departments we have achieved significant progress and expanded the traditional areas of work with something new. The meeting has also summed up the scientific work of students and the information sector of the student council, positively evaluated the measures aimed at strengthening the ties with the foreign higher education institutions, discussed the problems of social protection. This, in particular, was mentioned in the speeches of the following people:

- Gennady Torbanyuk, the Chairman of Scientific Society of the University;

- Ganna Yakymenko, the Head of Information Sector;

- Liza Zabolotna, the Head of International Relations Sector of the Student council;

- Lilia Krutchenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Trade Union;

- Olga Pidgorna spoke about the work of the student social and psychological services.

The discussion was attended by Dmytro Baldynyuk, the Vice-Rector of the University. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the administration and the student council, thanked the students for their interest and activity, and wished further success to the newly elected student council.

There is much interesting and creative work ahead, and the students do not know the limits of self-improvement.
