The last day of September is the day of Vira (Faith), Nadiya (Hope), Liubov (Love) and their mother Sophia. On that day the solemn academy took place at a meeting of the Academic Council at USPU. Every country associates education with faith and hope in the future, and the people who are committed to their job dedicate their lives to the industry of education. Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of the University, Professor, began the solemn academy with the following words, "Our scientific and pedagogical staff, wise and talented professionals who are investing in the education of future specialists are the highest values of the University ".
The high ratings of the year prove that the University is prospering: we are on the fourth place among the humanitarian universities of the country; we successfully execute the state order. And this success goes along with new achievements. The number of Doctors of Sciences of the University is continuously expanding. Thus, recently Zinaida Svyaschenko successfully defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Science. Good achievements in science of the educators of our University encourage their colleagues to improve, upgrade their scientific degrees, in particular, in the Doctoral studies sphere. The scientific and pedagogical potential of the University increases every year. The team of scientists of the University is replenished by the young Candidates of Sciences.
The following people congratulated the educators on their professional holiday to celebrate the eve of education employee and thank the glorious staff representatives of the University: Olga Furman, the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Petro Payevskyy, the Deputy Mayor of Uman city, Oleg Kozhemiako, the Deputy Head of Uman District Administration, Natalia Korop, the Manager of the Affairs of the District Council of Uman, Oksana Gerasimenko, the Head of Education Department of the City Council of Uman, Oksana Suprunets, the Head of Education Department of Uman District Administration.
As a good tradition, the scientific and educational achievements of the colleagues were mentioned. For high professionalism, hard work, personal contribution to the education of highly qualified specialists and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities, effective functioning of vocational work, nearly 200 employees of the University were awarded Diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Department of Education Administration Cherkasy, Cherkasy Regional Committee of the Union of Education and Science, the Executive Committee city ??Council of Uman, Uman District Administration, District Council of Uman, Uman Department of Education and Uman District Education Department. Celebrating the educator’s day in the University is not only their personal success, it is the recognition of the institution.
