Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of the University met a delegation of representatives of sister cities of Uman - Kurnik, Lancut (Poland) and Radvilishkis (Lithuania). She met the foreign visitors in her office where they kept a warm and relaxed conversation. As visitors are employed by cultural and sports organizations they are interested not only in the University in general but also specifically in its sport and cultural facilities the activities in this sphere. In their turn, the guests talked about the progress in the area of communities that they represent, shared the experience of financing of the culture and sports in Poland and Lithuania - investments and local budgets.


Foreign visitors have seen the classrooms of the new academic building of the University. Those members of the delegation who visited the University for the first time noted significant improvements in the appearance of buildings and landscaping design and design of adjacent areas and in the technical facilities of thematic content of the classrooms.




But most of visitors were impressed by the cultural and sports life of the University. The University has nine teams awarded by the honorary title of “People”. Among the students there are Masters and Candidate Master of Sports, Olympic champions.

Visitors wished the University further prosperity, scientific and artistic achievements, implementation of the concept and successful performance of the tasks of the higher education of Ukraine.
