One of the best creative teams of Arts Department of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University «Serbian Star» recently organized a charity concert in support of the Ukrainian army. It was the initiative of the participants of this instrumental trio Jovan Drmanc, Aleksandar Djordjevic and Darko Markovic.

Trio «Serbian Star» (art director - Ph.D., assistant professor of Music Study and Vocal and Choral Subjects Chair Vladyslav Husak) – is the winner of national and international contests, a regular participant of cultural events taking place in our university, city and state .

The concert was started with ethnical performance of "Zona Zamfirova". Electronic presentation that accompanied the musical number, reflecting the remarkable landscapes and architectural monuments of Serbia, and more - photos of the team during performances. Each subsequent performance confirmed how talented, charismatic and committed to music our foreign students from Serbia are.

Acting Dean of Arts Department, Ph.D., associate professor Inna Tereshko appealed to the team with the words of special gratitude for the initiative to hold a charity concert and professionalism, sincerity and commitment to the educational institution. On behalf of all the participants, she expressed sincere gratitude for the wonderful concert and tireless work for strengthening the positive image of our university at the national and international levels. Wishing trio «Serbian Star» further creative successes, victories and achievements, Inna Tereshko handed guys from Serbia the Ukrainian a loaf.

All people, who visited the concert, had a unique opportunity not only to get acquainted with the culture of Serbia, its musical art, combining folk and modern motives, but also enjoy highly professional music and feasibly assist our military. The money collected during the concert will be procured essential drugs and sent to the front with the help of volunteer organizations “Razom”.
