The real gift for the All-Ukrainian Pre-school Day was the opening of the Center of Child Development at Pre-school and Special Education Department in USPU.

Unique to the university established Center of Child Development was created in the University due to the letter of MES of Ukraine and according to the order of the Rector, Professor Oleksandr Bezliudnyi. Thanks to considerable efforts of the administration, Trade Union organization (acting chairman Inna Babiy), Pre-School and Special Education Department (dean Iryna Demchenko), administrative and economic part of the University (Vice Rector Stanislav Markov), kindergarten №12 in Uman (head Natalia Dudnyk) an educational environment was created in a dormitory №2. It was established for work organization with pre-school children that will provide short-term stay of workers' and students' of our university children.

The opening ceremony was attended by deans, heads of the university departments, teachers and representatives of pre-school educational institutions.

On behalf of the Rector, Professor Oleksandr Bezliudnyi and administration of USPU the audience was greeted by the Head of the Center of Culture and Leisure "Gaudeamus" Lyudmyla Hekalyuk who stressed the importance of a such Center existence in higher educational institution.

Greeting with this significant event, deputy head of Trade Union Inna Babiy invested the Center Head Natalia Voznyuk with a gift certificate for 4000 UAH and assured that the Trade Union organization and the university will continue to support the newly formed division.

Dean of Preschool and Special Education Department, Ph.D.in Pedagogics, Associate Professor Iryna Demchenko congratulated the employees on their professional holiday, thanked everyone who had contributed to the realization of that major project, and wished an inspired and joyful work with the children.

According to the head of the Center Natalia Voznyuk in the future the Centre is a work with a psychologist, a speech therapist, opening creative and linguistic groups, to help fully and in a short time realize the abilities of each child.
